Tunisia is an Arab country located in North Africa, bordered on the north and east by the Mediterranean Sea. Its capital is Tunis. The area of the Republic of Tunisia is 163,610 km2. According to the latest statistics, the population of the Republic of Tunisia is approximately 11 million.Tunisia has a diversified and vibrant economy that has agricultural, manufacturing, tourism and mining sectors. Validation of European patents:
1. The text of the European patent or the required translation must be filed before the Tunisian Patent Office within a period of three months from the date of publication of the mention of grant of the European patent
2. An official fee for registering the European patent must be paid within a period of three months from the date of publication of the mention of grant of the European patent in order for the European patent to be fully effective in Tunisia, with the same effect as for a National Tunisian patent
